위화감의 다양한 영어표현 배우기

금발에서 흑발로 머리색을 바꿨어요.
I no longer have blonde hair.

It took me at least a week
to get used to having black hair.
흑발로 바꾸는데 1주일 정도 걸렸어요.

It was so weird every single time I looked in the mirror.
I was just like, Oh, it just doesn’t look right!
거울볼 때마다 위화감을 느껴…뭔가 부자연스런 느낌이야…

Although this is closer to my natural hair color than blonde
사실 이 색깔이 원래 머리카락 색깔에 가까운데..금발 보다..

After having blonde hair for a couple months,
I just got used to it, and it became kind of natiral to me.
금발을 몇달간 하고 있었더니 오히려 그것에 익숙해져 자연스럽게 받아드리게 됐어.

위화감 영어로?
직접적인 단어는 없지만 문장표현이 있다.

It feels weired.
It feels strange.
weired 캐주얼한 표현이고 strange는 포멀한 표현

또는 It doesn’t feel right.
부자연스럽거나 잘 와닿지 않는 느낌..

My throat feels weird.
My throat feels strange.
My throat doesn’t feel right.

This house feels so weird without you.
This house doesn’t feel right without you.
(룸네이트 이사가고 혼자남음) 네가 집에 없으니 좀 이상해.

영어에서 눈으로 보고 느낀 경우는 looks를 사용한다.
It looks weired.
It looks strange.
It doesn’t look right.

I look so weird with black hair.
It just doesn’t look right.
내 검은머리 좀 이상해.
뭔가 부자연스러워

I’m so used to you being blonde now.
You look weird with black hair.
네 금발에 익숙해져 흑발이 이상한 느낌이야.

친한 친구사이엔 weired를 사용하지만 긍정적인 의미는 아니므로
아래와 같은 표현이 무난하다.

You look so different! 너 뭔가 달라 보여
I’m not used to you with black hair.
네 흑발에 적응이 안돼.

뭔가 소리에 위화감을 느낄 경우는

It sounds weird.
It sounds strange.
It doesn’t sound right.

The engine sounds weird.
Maybe there are something wrong with the car.
엔진소리가 이상해.차가 고장난거 같아.

The engine doesn’t sound right.
Do you think there is something wrong with the car?

Her voice sounded really strange.
I think she is hiding something.
그녀의 목소리가 좀 이상해. 뭔가 숨기는 것이 있을지도 몰라.
